Platte Valley School District RE 7 is pleased to announce the availability of our 2008-2009 Annual Report to the Public.  Every year, school districts in Colorado report about their performance to their communities, based on requirements in the No Child Left Behind Act. In addition, state law has required that districts report district accreditation information.   Both the information required by federal law and district accreditation information is now available on the Colorado Department of Education’s Web site at http://www.schoolview.org/SchoolPerformance/index.asp  

Para el distrito de Platte Valley es un placer anunciar que el reporte anual de 2008-2009 ahora está disponible al público. Cada año los distritos escolares de Colorado reportan los resultados del progreso de nuestro distrito a la comunidad según la Acta de Ningún Niño Se Quede Atrás.  Además, la ley de Colorado requiere que los distritos reporten información sobre la acreditación del distrito. La información requerida por ley federal y la información de acreditación del distrito está disponible en la página de Internet del Departamento de Educación de Colorado en http://www.schoolview.org/SchoolPerformance/index.asp

At the regular meeting of the Platte Valley School District Board of Education, the board set the time of graduation at 10 am on May 23, 2010.   The board also set the ACT test date for juniors on April 28, 2010. There is no school for 9th, 10th, and 12th graders on that day. This is a correction to the adopted school calendar and is reflected on the calendar posted in the documents section of this web page.

 At the regular December 21, 2009 meeting of the Platte Valley School District Board of Education, the board set March 12, 2010 as a NO SCHOOL P-12 - TEACHER WORKDAY.  March 12, 2010 was formerly a regular school day for P-8 and No School 9-12.
